Meet the Team
Camaraderie is at the heart of everything on offer, from the group classes to the optional coffee catch ups after class . This flows into the team of exceptionally gifted local physical therapists to widen the resources provided for you.
Helen O'Neill
Helen is a Specialist Physiotherapist in human movement.
She studied Human Movement Science and Exercise Physiology at Liverpool University, and Physiotherapy at Salford University. She gained some of the best front-line sport physiotherapy experience in Whistler (Canada) while "living the dream" for six years. Also a key practitioner at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
Helen is an expert in diagnosis and treatment of injury or dysfunctional movement patterns. Together, Helen and Vanessa have been helping to rehabilitate those locally with MSK conditions.
Debbie Atkins
Debbie is a Fitness and Nordic Walking Instructor.
Like many entrepreneurial people, Debbie found herself constantly juggling between a career in a corporate capacity (17 years as a Management Accountant for British Gas) as well as raising two young children.
Redundancy gave her the opportunity to pursue a different way of life; to fulfil her career ambitions. Whilst qualifying as a Personal Trainer, Debbie was introduced to Nordic Walking - another lightbulb moment - training and talking at the same time? Sounds like heaven!
Debbie and Vanessa held their first Nordic Walking course in September 2024. Nordic Walking takes the principles of pilates outdoors (good posture, whole body strength, joint support) and adds an element of
cardio fitness.
